After landing in Hanoi, we will pick you up at the airport and take you to your boutique hotel in the heart of the Old Quarter. Meet up with your travel group and look forward to the adventures ahead.
We jump straight into the hustle and bustle of Hanoi by exploring the city on foot and by rickshaw. Delicious street food will keep us energised as we explore the heady energy of the capital with its rustic colonial buildings and themed shopping streets. This evening we'll go out for dinner and drinks to see what Hanoi has to offer after dark. (F)
From Hanoi to the mountains: This morning we take a VIP bus and discover the dazzling landscapes of northern Vietnam. We meet locals from various ethnic groups before climbing the Muong Hoa Valley on a short hike. Passing villages bursting with culture, we spend the night with a local family in the village of Ta Van. Finally, we learn more about the local customs at a traditional dinner and have a traditional dinner, which we enjoy with some rice wine. (F, M, A)
Today is all about enjoying the postcard scenery and breathing in the fresh mountain air as we hike through terraced hills and waterfalls. In the afternoon we drive to Sapa, where we check into our beautiful hotel in the mountains and put our feet up. (F)
This morning, enjoy the hotel and explore Sapa on your own, with the option to take the cable car up to the Fan Si Pan peak. With a summit at 3100 metres above sea level, this viewpoint, dubbed the Roof of Indochina, offers breathtaking views of the mountainous landscape. Tonight we board an overnight train for a unique but comfortable journey back to Hanoi. (F)
From Hanoi, we travel to Ha Long Bay to board the luxurious boat that will be our home for the night. Famous for emerald green waters, limestone islands, magical caves and dense rainforests. We experience this world heritage site while kayaking, swimming and lazing on the sun deck. In the evening, enjoy the sunset from the deck and a fresh dinner and a few drinks. It doesn't get any better than this! (M, A)
Today, the rice fields and the vast mountains of Ninh Binh await us. Tonight we will enjoy our peaceful surroundings by staying in traditional bungalows by the river with a local host family. (F, M)
We set off for the rural paradise of Ninh Binh. First we take a bike tour through rice paddies, then we take rowing boats through a network of rivers and caves. The hike to the viewpoint on Dragon Mountain rewards us with a fantastic view. (F)

Local fishermen teach us the art of crab fishing today. We then take part in a practical cookery course to become masters of Vietnamese cuisine. The afternoon is yours to chill out by the pool. Or treat yourself to a great massage. This evening we will experience a cultural bamboo show! (F, M)
Pack deine Sonnencreme und Badesachen ein! Heute machen wir eine kurze Fahrradtour durch idyllische Felder, um einen entspannten Strandtag zu verbringen. Danach erleben wir einen farbenfrohen Sonnenuntergang, während wir am Meer zu Abend essen und etwas trinken. (F)
Heute haben wir einen entspannten Morgen, um die letzten Eindrücke von Hoi An aufzusaugen und nehmen danach unseren zweiten Flug nach Ho-Chi-Minh-Stadt. Dort gehen wir direkt auf die Straße, um zu Abend zu essen. Danach gehen wir in eine Rooftop-Bar und genießen einen Drink mit Blick auf Ho Chi Minh's moderne Skyline. (F)
Heute fahren wir in die üppige Schönheit des Mekong-Deltas für eine besondere Übernachtung. Wir werden einen echten Kulturschock erleben, wenn wir ein authentisches Vietnam erkunden und sehen, wie die Einheimischen auf dem Fluss leben und arbeiten und in einer familiengeführten Unterkunft übernachten. In den Cu Chi Tunneln werden wir erfahren, wie dieses von Hand gegrabene, unterirdische Netz eine entscheidende Rolle im Vietnamkrieg gespielt hat. Nachschubwege, Verstecke und Wohnräume für Soldaten. Zurück in Ho-Chi-Minh-Stadt angekommen, machen wir uns für unser Abschiedsessen und die Party heute Abend bereit. (F, M, A)
