When you land in Cancun, we will pick you up at the airport and take you to your hotel in Playa del Carmen. Meet up with your travel group for dinner.
Today we make our way to one of the new seven wonders of the world - Chichén Itzá. A local guide shows us the Temple of Kukulkan („El Castillo“), the spooky Platform of Skulls and the Square of a Thousand Columns. Later, we experience the crystal-clear waters of a cenote, a natural limestone cave in a secret underground world.
Today we head to Tulum, where you can explore the ruins or relax on the beautiful beach. Back in Playa, you can look forward to dinner and drinks.
We leave Playa behind us and head south to the Yucatán Peninsula. Our first stop is Bacalar, the lagoon of seven colours. We enjoy a boat trip at sunset, gliding over turquoise-coloured water and cooling off with a swim. When the sun goes down, you can treat yourself to a local beer and toast to paradise!
Today we cross the border to Belize and head straight to Caye Caulker, home to the second largest barrier reef in the world. At sunset, we meet on the other side of the island, where stingrays swim between our legs.
Grab your snorkelling gear and make your way to the Hol Chan Marine Reserve, which is teeming with a vibrant underwater world. Dive into the warm waters and explore the colourful fish, vibrant coral reefs and graceful rays. Keep an eye out for manatees too. Enjoy fresh Caribbean cuisine for dinner.
Today you can explore the area at your own pace! Visit the famous „Split“, a natural chasm created by a hurricane and a perfect place to swim. You can relax, paddle or snorkel some more.
We leave the Caribbean coast of Belize behind us and stop for lunch in a Mayan village to prepare a traditional feast and learn more about their rich heritage. We then cross the border into Guatemala and check into our hotel on the island of Flores.
The archaeological site of Tikal is hidden deep in the jungle and bears witness to the glory of the mighty Mayan civilisation. We will visit the pyramid „Mundo Perdido“ (Lost World) and the Temple of the Great Jaguar with local guides.
Today we are travelling a longer distance as we head south into the highlands. The good news is that we will break up the journey with a tour of the fabulous 80-kilometre-long Candelaria Caves. Back in the sunshine, we continue to Cobán, a colourful town in the middle of the mountains.
This morning we get into off-road vehicles and drive into the highlands. We cover the last stretch on foot and hike through the jungle to breathtaking blue pools lined with bright green algae. We travel down the river in a rubber dinghy and arrive at an authentic Mayan house where we enjoy a traditional lunch!
Today we head south and stop in Chichicastenango, a centre of indigenous Mayan traditions and home to one of the largest markets in Central America. Later we arrive in Panajachel, directly on the shores of the breathtaking Lake Atitlán.
We take a boat across Lake Atitlán to San Marcos for a swim. We then travel to San Juan, where we stay with a Mayan family. We eat together and learn more about their lives.
It's an early start, but it's worth it! We hike to the summit of Mayan Face Mountain in the moonlight. At sunrise, we enjoy a breathtaking view of Lake Atitlán over hot cocoa. We then have breakfast with the local families before setting off for Antigua. Enjoy exploring the stunning Spanish architecture, the cosy cafés and the dramatic volcanic backdrop.

Today we climb one of these volcanoes, which we have already admired from afar, with a local guide. It won't be easy, but the experience will be incredibly rewarding. We ascend and reach our campsite above the clouds as the sun sets and the air thins. As night falls, the Fuego volcano will mesmerise us with its lava flows.
Once we're down from the volcano, we'll freshen up and have some time to explore the area before having dinner and a drink together.
After a short flight, we land in Costa Rica. Depending on the flight time, you will have the opportunity to explore San José before we meet for dinner.
Today we explore the history of San José on a tour with a local guide. In the afternoon, we drive to La Fortuna and make a stopover at an oxcart museum.
We head into the rainforest to experience the Arenal volcano, dense trails and lava fields. After sunset, we take an evening walk and observe interesting nocturnal animals with our local guide.
This morning we will visit a family in La Fortuna to see their farm and learn how they harvest local produce. We will watch a traditional casado lunch being prepared with fresh ingredients and enjoy home-grown coffee. Afterwards, we will relax in natural hot springs rich in healing volcanic minerals.
We leave La Fortuna and stop at a Maleku house to gain a rare insight into their traditional way of life. Then it's on to the Río Celeste National Park, where the water is bluer than you can imagine. After exploring the breathtaking pools and waterfalls, we reach the peaceful Rincon de la Vieja National Park.
Lace up your hiking boots! Today we hike along jungle trails that showcase Costa Rica's incredible biodiversity, with volcanic vents, mud pits and over 300 species of birds, monkeys, reptiles and even jaguars. In the afternoon, adventure-seekers can whizz through the treetops on the zip line, while others relax by the hotel pool.
Our first stop is the historic town of Liberia, where we take a tour and have lunch. We will then visit the birthplace of Costa Rican pottery before travelling on to the laid-back coastal town of Samara. We will have plenty of time to relax and enjoy the coastal atmosphere.
Pack your towel and sunscreen! Today we explore the secluded beaches of Guanacaste, each of which has something unique to offer. Relax, swim or play beach games - whatever takes your fancy, we've got you covered. The next day you can take part in the activities in Samara, be it yoga, surfing, kayaking or simply relaxing by the sea.

This morning we head south to Esterillos - another oasis on the beach known for surfing and tranquillity. It's not unusual for us to have this vast, unspoilt beach all to ourselves. Once we've settled in, the afternoon is yours to explore, shop and enjoy the slow pace of Costa Rican life with a few drinks as the sun sets.
The spectacular Manuel Antonio National Park is within sight, so get your camera ready. This is the most visited national park in Costa Rica - and we'll explore its lush jungles and beautiful beaches together. Keep your eyes peeled as we search for wildlife, including everyone's favourite sloth! After a morning in the jungle, we'll make our way to more unspoilt beaches. Just keep your eyes peeled for the cheeky monkeys.
We make our way back to San José and stop at the Crocodile Bridge to see these prehistoric creatures up close. After you've settled in, you can explore everything you missed before. Tonight we'll have a farewell dinner and drinks to toast our unforgettable adventure.
