Hanoi - Arrival in Vietnam

After landing in Hanoi, we will pick you up at the airport and take you to your boutique hotel in the heart of the Old Quarter. Meet up with your travel group and look forward to the adventures ahead.

Hanoi - Discoveries with the Rickshaw

We jump straight into the hustle and bustle of Hanoi by exploring the city on foot and by rickshaw. Delicious street food will keep us energised as we explore the heady energy of the capital with its rustic colonial buildings and themed shopping streets. This evening we'll go out for dinner and drinks to see what Hanoi has to offer after dark. (F)

Ha Long Bay - We spend the night in a dreamlike setting

From Hanoi, we head to Ha Long Bay, where we cruise through the emerald green waters surrounded by limestone mountains. We won't be able to resist the secret caves and coves, so we jump in the kayaks and explore further before preparing for the evening on our overnight boat with hot tub and bar. (F, M, A)

Ninh Binh - We spend the night with a host family directly on the river

Today we head south to the beautiful countryside of Ninh Binh, a landscape of endless rice paddies and impressive limestone mountains. Check in to our unique and impressive homestay and relax and enjoy the sunset in our private bungalows on the banks of the river. (F, M)

Ninh Binh - bike tour and city exploration

We set off for the rural paradise of Ninh Binh. First we take a bike tour through rice paddies, then we take rowing boats through a network of rivers and caves. The hike to the viewpoint on Dragon Mountain rewards us with a fantastic view. In the evening we board our night train. (F)

Hoi An - The magical town

The beautiful, historic Hoi An will immediately win you over when we arrive this morning. We check into our hotel. In the afternoon, you'll have time to explore the city, go shopping or simply relax and unwind.

Hoi An - Bucket Fishing & Cooking Class

Local fishermen teach us the art of crab fishing today. We then take part in a practical cookery course to become masters of Vietnamese cuisine. The afternoon is yours to chill out by the pool. Or treat yourself to a great massage. This evening we will experience a cultural bamboo show! (F, M)

Hoi An - Lantern class & beach day

This morning we will learn how to make lanterns. Then we'll hop on the bikes for a short ride to the beach and spend a relaxing day at a beach club. We'll eat and drink by the sea! (F)

Ho Chi Minh City - We are travelling to Vietnam's largest city

We take to the skies and head south to the vibrant Ho Chi Minh City. The rest of the day is at your disposal. We will of course help you plan the perfect day. (F)

Mekong Delta - Local life in the Mekong Delta

Today we explore the lush, green beauty of the Mekong Delta. We see how the locals live and work along the river, visit villages and stay overnight with a local host family. (F, M, A)

Ho Chi Minh City - Cu Chi Tunnel

The Cu Chi tunnels are on the programme today. This network of underground tunnels played a decisive role in the Vietnam War. They were supply routes, hiding places and living quarters for soldiers. After our arrival in Ho Chi Minh City in the afternoon, we will prepare for our farewell dinner and party in the evening. (F, M)

Yes, many of our participants are travelling alone. When you join our trip, you immediately become part of a group and have the opportunity to meet other adventurers. It's a fantastic opportunity to make new friends and share unforgettable experiences together!

You can secure your tour with a deposit of 200 EUR. The balance is not due until 45 days before the start of the tour. However, if you book within 45 days of the tour start date, the full tour price is payable immediately. This means you can plan your trip flexibly and look forward to your adventure!

If you make an enquiry, we will then contact you by phone to discuss all the details for preparing the offer. For example, we will clarify whether you need a flight offer and discuss all the important travel topics with you. You will then receive a personalised offer from your travel consultant by email. This ensures that all your wishes are taken into account and that you are well informed.

After your booking, you will receive a tour confirmation and your flight documents if you have booked the flight through us. You will be given access to a packing list and to online groups where you can exchange ideas with other participants. Your tour guide will contact you around 2-4 weeks before the start of the tour and provide you with final details about your journey and the start of the tour. This way you are well prepared and can network with your fellow travellers in advance.

As the group participants are travelling from many different countries, the flights to and from the tour are booked individually and are not included in the tour price. You can arrive at any time on the first day of the tour. However, a welcome dinner is planned in the evening, which is why you should be at your first accommodation before 6 pm if possible so as not to miss it. This way you can get to know the other participants right at the start and have a relaxed start to your adventure.

Airport transfer:
The airport transfer on your arrival on day 1 is already included in the price. You will be picked up at the airport and taken to your first accommodation in comfort. So you can start your trip relaxed and don't have to worry about organising transport.

Of course, you are also free to go out to eat on your own or with other participants. There are numerous inexpensive and good options on site to cater for you. Yes, that's no problem. You will be asked about your dietary requirements during the booking process. German nationals do not require a visa for a stay of up to 45 days. Austrian and Swiss nationals, on the other hand, must apply for an e-visa before entering the country. These tours are aimed primarily, but not exclusively, at a young audience aged 18-39+. Although there is this age guideline, we realise that age is just a number. Anyone who feels young, active and adventurous is welcome to join this tour. The activities are designed to be fun and offer new experiences. As long as you have the energy and enthusiasm, we look forward to having you join us!

If you are over 40 and taking part in the tour, please note that the other participants will generally be younger than you.

Travel health insurance is compulsory on this tour to protect you. This can already be taken out at a reasonable price. We also recommend taking out travel cancellation, trip interruption and baggage insurance. These insurances offer you comprehensive protection and security during your trip.

We recommend travelling with a rucksack and packing light! 10-20kg should be enough. It's usually quite hot and it's no fun lugging around a huge suitcase. You can do your laundry or have it done for little money in most accommodation.
However, if you prefer a suitcase, that's no problem. You are also welcome to travel with a trolley or suitcase. The important thing is that you feel comfortable and can transport your luggage easily.
