Land in Colombo anytime on your first day and we'll take care of you. A friendly face from our team will meet you at the airport and take you to your hotel. In the evening, you can enjoy a Sri Lankan welcome dinner with your fellow travellers - your first taste of the island's fantastic cuisine and the perfect start to your trip!

Today the journey really gets going! We drive to Dambulla and stop at the famous Dambulla Cave Temple to marvel at the ancient carvings and statues before tasting the best food Sri Lanka has to offer at a local restaurant and then checking into our hotel. Take a quick dip in the pool before heading to the Buddhist monastery of Pidurangala for unrivalled 360-degree views of the surrounding area and Sigiriya at sunset.

Start the morning by climbing Sigiriya, considered by the locals to be the eighth wonder of the world. Over 1500 years of history in one place! We then stop for a fantastic Sri Lankan lunch with a local family. The rest of the day is yours to relax by the pool, book a massage or go on an elephant safari!

Today we set off for the Knuckle Mountain Range. We drive to a spice garden where you will learn the secrets of Sri Lankan cuisine before travelling to the country's second largest city, Kandy. And what better way to explore the city than on the back of a local means of transport, the tuk tuks! Finally, we visit the Temple of the Tooth.

Start the day with a trip to tea country! Visit a tea plantation, pick tea and taste the best Ceylon tea. After lunch, a private bus will take you to Ella, where you can enjoy the lush landscape and views of the mountains along the way.
**Due to damage caused by a storm in 2025, the train service between Ella and Kandy is suspended indefinitely for repairs. As this train journey is temporarily unavailable, we have organised a comfortable and reliable alternative to Ella.

Today you have a day at leisure in the beautiful mountain town of Ella! Try out lots of optional activities, including a hike to Ella Rock or the Diyaluma Falls. Treat yourself to a massage or use the free time to relax by the pool!

In the morning, we hike up Little Adam's Peak and visit the world-famous Nine Arch Bridge. We then leave the mountains and have lunch on the way to Udawalawe National Park to experience the elephants up close! After the safari, a barbecue buffet awaits you at your glamping site.

Today is the day to savour the beauty of Mirissa and surrender to it.

Start your day with a 12 km bike ride through the lush rice fields of the south, stopping at a local school along the way. In the afternoon, take a stroll through the old Dutch fort in Galle, buy some souvenirs and try one of Sri Lanka's best ice creams!

After breakfast, you board the train from Weligama to Galle and travel along the breathtaking south coast of Sri Lanka, where the sea glides past you like a moving postcard. Once in Galle, you'll continue to the 2004 tsunami memorial before travelling to the Madu River and taking a boat trip through the mangrove forests! Observe birds, fishing villages and enjoy a peaceful ride. We then drive to Colombo, where we spend our last night.
