Arrival in Lima. Your airport transfer is already included, so you can arrive at the hotel relaxed. In the evening, you will get to know your group and your guide at the welcome meeting and get in the mood for your Peru adventure.

Today you continue early to Cusco and from there to the Sacred Valley. On the way, you will visit the impressive circular terraces of Moray and the famous salt terraces of Maras, which have been used since pre-Inca times. In the evening, you will enjoy a traditional pachamanca dinner, where meat and vegetables are cooked in an earth oven according to ancient Andean tradition.

Today you will experience the Sacred Valley in a particularly authentic way. You will visit the Potato Park, where local communities preserve hundreds of traditional potato varieties and give you exciting insights into agriculture, culture and the art of weaving. Afterwards, you will discover the impressive ruins of Pisac and Ollantaytambo and enjoy lunch in the Parwa Community Restaurant.

In the morning, you will travel to Ollantaytambo and board the train to Aguas Calientes. The journey itself is a real highlight: spectacular mountain landscapes, green valleys and fascinating views of the Andes accompany you along the way. Today the time has finally come: you are visiting Machu Picchu. Together with a local guide, you will explore the legendary Inca city, walk through temples, terraces and historical sites and learn more about the history of this impressive place. Afterwards, return to Cusco by train and transfer.

The day is yours to discover Cusco at your own pace. Stroll through the old town, visit museums, churches or archaeological sites and enjoy the special flair of this historic city. In the evening, a special experience awaits you at the Cusco Planetarium, where you can learn more about the significance of the stars for the Incas and, with a bit of luck, enjoy a clear view of the southern night sky.
