In 17 days, we'll show you the highlights of both islands, including some off-the-beaten-track adventures, and then offer you full onward travel support. Explore Auckland, walk through the real Hobbiton film set, experience traditional Maori culture, watch the stars and discover underground caves. Then fly south to navigate misty fjords, go on incredible hikes, jetboat through breathtaking landscapes and much more.

Kia ora! After landing in Auckland, we'll meet you at our centrally located hostel to get you settled in. Tonight you'll meet up with the rest of your travel group and look forward to all the adventures that await you on your journey through New Zealand!

We leave Auckland and set off to discover the best of the beautiful North Island. Our first stop is Waitomo, home to the world-famous glowworm caves. We explore this surreal, subterranean landscape by boat and watch in awe as the glowworms light up the darkness. We continue on to Hobbiton, the real-life film set used in The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit trilogies. After a stroll through the enchanting village, we enjoy a drink at the Green Dragon Inn before travelling on to Rotorua.

The first item on the programme is Kerosene Creek, a naturally heated hot spring where we can spend the morning. Next up is one of New Zealand's greatest geothermal hot springs, Wai o Tapu, with its dramatic geysers and bubbling mud.

Enjoy some free time this morning to try out exciting activities such as zorbing or skyline tobogganing. Tobogganing. In the evening we visit the Mitai Māori and get an introduction to the Māori culture - it doesn't get more authentic than this!

Get your cameras out, because we're travelling to Taupo, a town right on the lake in the heart of the north. Tonight we have something special on the programme - a cruise across the lake. The majestic landscape will impress us.

This morning we'll visit the epic Huka Falls, an ice-cold waterfall thundering down from the Waikato River. After experiencing the raw power of Mother Nature, you'll have some free time to go skydiving or do one of the highest bungee jumps in the world!

Today we're travelling to the vibrant capital of New Zealand, Wellington! Immerse yourself in the lively atmosphere of the city by visiting the cosy cafés, enjoying delicious dishes in restaurants or simply enjoying the relaxed evening atmosphere.

Start your day with a city orientation tour, taking in the highlights of New Zealand's capital city! Ride the famous cable cars for panoramic views and then immerse yourself in the fascinating history and vibrant culture at Te Papa Tongarewa Museum - one of the best museums in the world.

After exploring the North Island, it's time to fly south! A short inclusive flight will take you to Christchurch, where you'll reunite with your travelling party and we'll set off on the exciting adventures that lie ahead.

Discover the vibrant city of Christchurch, where history and culture can be found on every corner, before enjoying the breathtaking beauty of Lake Tekapo!

Today we will hike up Mt John, from where we will have a 360-degree view of the Southern Alps before soaking our tired muscles in hot pools.

We enjoy a scenic drive through the Southern Alps to Tekapo. Lake Tekapo is known for its milky turquoise colour and is an alpine oasis! In the afternoon we will stretch our limbs by hiking the famous Hooker Valley Track. This walk takes us through the valley and offers unforgettable views of Aoraki/Mt Cook, the highest mountain in New Zealand.

Today we see the highlights of Wanaka, including a kayak tour on the stunning Lake Wanaka and discover the famous Wanaka Tree. Later, we'll hike up Mount Iron, from where we'll take in breathtaking views of the surrounding area, including the Pisa Range, Upper Clutha Basin and the mesmerising Southern Alps.

Today we are travelling to the beautiful city of Queenstown. For those participating in the NZ Intro Work Add-on, later this afternoon our team will make sure you're all set for living and working in New Zealand and ready for our NZ Jobs Programme. If you don't want to work in New Zealand, you'll have free time to explore the great city further or treat yourself to a (or more ;)) cocktails.

Today we leave Queenstown and make our way to the majestic Milford Sound. We'll hop on a boat to sail around the fjord and navigate our way between sheer cliffs, ancient forests and cascading waterfalls.

Today we show you the breathtaking Queenstown with an orientation walk. The good news is that our first adrenaline rush is not far away, as this afternoon we'll be travelling through the canyons on a jet boat at over 80 km/h. Tonight we meet for the last time for our farewell dinner.
