Arrival in Windhoek possible at any time. The transfer from the airport to the hotel is already included. In the evening, you will get to know your guide and the group at the welcome meeting before the trip gets off to a relaxed start with dinner together.

Today you leave the Namibian capital and travel towards Sesriem, the gateway to the impressive Namib-Naukluft National Park. On the way, red desert landscapes, camel thorn trees and curved dunes pass you by. With a bit of luck, you may spot the first animals such as oryx antelopes, springboks, jackals or hyenas. In the evening, enjoy the view of the sun setting over the desert.

Today you will explore some of Namibia's most spectacular landscapes. We head to the famous dunes of Sossusvlei, to Deadvlei with its black dead trees on white clay soil and to Sesriem Canyon. These contrasts of red dunes, deep blue sky and bizarre shapes make the day a real highlight of the trip.

The journey continues through constantly changing desert landscapes to the Atlantic coast to Swakopmund. On the way, you will stop at a well-known bakery and go on a Living Desert Walk Tour with a local guide. You will learn more about the survival strategies of people and animals in this extreme landscape. You then reach Swakopmund, where you have the rest of the day at leisure.

A special excursion to Sandwich Harbour and the Skeleton Coast awaits you today. You will drive along the coast, through dune landscapes and experience the impressive moment when the desert meets the Atlantic Ocean. In the afternoon, you will get to know a different side of Swakopmund on a guided visit to Mondesa Township, including a visit to the market, local specialities and a dinner with entertainment.

The morning in Swakopmund is at your leisure. You can explore the town with its special blend of German and African culture or take part in optional activities such as sandboarding, kayaking or a fat-tire bike tour. In the evening, the group will meet again for dinner at the hotel.

After breakfast, you will continue your journey towards Etosha National Park, one of Africa's most famous game reserves. On the way, you make a stop in Outjo before reaching your lodge outside the park. You can spend the evening relaxing or optionally go on a game drive in the surrounding area.

A full-day safari in an open vehicle in Etosha National Park is on the programme today. Have your camera ready, as large populations of elephants, lions and many other wild animals live here. Numerous animals and bird species can often be observed at waterholes and in the open grasslands.

After breakfast, you will visit the Cheetah Conservation Fund, one of the world's leading cheetah conservation organisations. You will learn more about research, conservation and community work and get closer to the animals on a drive through the grounds. Then it's back to Windhoek, where you spend the last evening of the trip.

Your journey ends today in Windhoek, but you can leave at any time. In your luggage: impressive desert landscapes, safari moments, the Atlantic coast and a good collection of photos that will be looked at far too seldom later anyway. We say: See you soon! :)
