Tour Itinerary

Marrakesh → Ouarzazate

After a short welcome meeting at the start hotel, your journey begins directly with the drive to Ouarzazate. On the way, you will get your first impressions of Morocco's landscapes before arriving at your accommodation in the evening and having dinner with the group. Please note that you should be at the meeting point in Marrakech by 2.30 pm at the latest.

Ouarzazate → Erg Lihoudi desert camp

In the morning, the group will visit the famous Atlas Film Studios in Ouarzazate, gaining exciting insights into Morocco's film sets. Afterwards, the journey continues via Zagora to Mhamid. From there, your unforgettable desert adventure begins on foot into the Sahara. Around sunset, you'll reach the Erg Lihoudi camp, enjoy a tea, experience the special desert atmosphere, and round off the day with dinner around a campfire.

Desert camp Erg Lihoudi → Bertam Oasis

You wake up to a spectacular desert sunrise and set off on the second day of your Sahara adventure after breakfast. Today, you have the choice to cover part of the route on foot or by camel, experiencing the desert in a particularly authentic way. After lunch, you'll continue by 4x4 to the Bertam oasis. There, a desert camp awaits you just in time for sunset, with dinner, stories, and music around the campfire.

Skoura

After another sunrise in the desert, you return to Zagora by 4x4. There you can use the free time to take a shower, freshen up and relax by the pool after your desert adventure. After lunch, you will travel on to Skoura, an oasis known for its date palms. In the evening, you will enjoy dinner with the group.

Skoura to Marrakesh

Today it's back to Marrakech. After arriving, there will be free time in the city before a cooking demonstration is scheduled for the afternoon. You will learn how to prepare Tanjia, a traditional Moroccan speciality. Afterwards, you will explore various food stalls in the Medina with your guide and learn more about the ingredients and flavours of Moroccan cuisine. The day ends with tea on a rooftop terrace overlooking Djemaa el Fna.

In the morning, you will explore key sites in the Medina on a guided tour, including Le Jardin Secret and the Bahia Palace. Afterwards, you'll visit a local bakery to learn more about the production of Moroccan bread. For lunch, you will enjoy the Tanjia prepared the previous day on the riad's terrace. The rest of the day is yours to further discover Marrakech at your own pace.

Today you will embark on a full-day excursion to the impressive Ouzoud Falls near the Atlas Mountains. Here you can hike along the waterfalls and enjoy fantastic views. After lunch in the area, you will return to Marrakech, where a meal at a food stall in Djemaa el Fna awaits you in the evening.

Marrakesh → Agadir

Make the most of your free morning in Marrakech with another stroll through the city or a final wander through the Medina. In the early afternoon, you will continue your journey to Agadir. Upon arrival, visit Souk Lhad, one of Morocco's largest markets, and then wind down the evening relaxing at one of the many stalls.

Agadir → Sidi Kaouki

Today you will travel along the coast to Sidi Kaouki. On the way, you will walk along Tamri Beach, admire the striking rock formations and then have a go at sandboarding on the dunes. In Sidi Kaouki, you will take part in a regional lunch and a traditional cooking demonstration with a local family. Afterwards, you will have free time to enjoy the small fishing village, the coast and the sunset.

Sidi Kaouki → Oualidia

Today, your journey continues with several exciting stops to Oualidia. First, you'll visit Essaouira, a historic fortified port city with a lively medina and a special coastal charm. After that, you'll head to Safi, known for Morocco's largest pottery market. There, you'll explore the old town and the ceramics market before reaching Oualidia in the evening.

Oualidia

Today you have a free day in Oualidia. The coastal town is known for its beautiful lagoon, quieter bathing spots and relaxed atmosphere. You can swim, enjoy nature or simply spend a quiet day by the water. There is an optional visit to the OSTREA Oyster Farm later on, before the group enjoys the sunset together in the evening, weather permitting.

Oualidia → Marrakech

After breakfast, we head back to Marrakech. Arrival is scheduled for around midday. The tour will end either at the airport or at your hotel in Marrakech for anyone who has booked extension nights. Please do not book any flights departing before 4:00 PM.

We recommend travelling with a rucksack and packing light! 10-20kg should be enough. It's usually quite hot and it's no fun lugging around a huge suitcase. You can do your laundry or have it done for little money in most accommodation.
