Landing in Lombok, babyyy! Fly to Zainuddin Abdul Madjid International Airport, formerly known as Lombok International Airport. If you're already in the area and take the boat from Bali, we'll meet you at our beautiful resort. Soak up the sun, relax by the pool and soak up the Indonesian sun before we enjoy dinner and drinks with your new TruCrew!

Sasak villages & waterfalls

Today we immerse ourselves in Indonesian culture and customs in a local Sasak village. We'll learn traditional techniques that have been passed down from generation to generation. Maybe you'll even be good at it, if not, at least you can say you tried! A win-win, right? After leaving the village, we set off in search of waterfalls! We take a hike through the jungle before arriving at one of the most spectacular waterfalls in Indonesia. Refresh yourself, dive in, take cool photos for Instagram - it's going to be a full day trip! Then we'll head back to the hotel for a quick shower before heading out with the TruFam for dinner and a beer or two.

Did someone say beach day?! You can't visit Indonesia and not spend a day at the beach. Luckily, we know all the hidden gems of Lombok! We're spending the day beach hopping as we travel along the south coast. Grab a surfboard, practise your surfing skills or just relax, coconut in hand and soak up the sun. The evening is at leisure, so we'll head back to get ready before having dinner together and seeing where the evening takes us!

Trip to Sumbawa

This morning we pack our bags and set off for our next destination, SUMBAWA! We travel by bus and then take the ferry from Lombok to Sumbawa. Our next destination in the east is truly fantastic! We arrive in the afternoon, take the rest of the day to relax by the pool and recharge our batteries. If you want, you can also visit the beach. It's been a day of travelling, you deserve it.

A TruExclusive! No one else will take you here! We take the boat to Moyo Island for a fantastic day off the beaten track. We explore the waterfalls and beaches that this picturesque island has to offer. Our little Indonesian secret spot. A local guide shows us the island and all the hotspots and hidden treasures it has to offer. Pure and absolute bliss. We spend the day swimming in waterfalls, relaxing on the beach and stopping for a local lunch. Is this the perfect day? It's definitely one of the best! Then we get back on the boat and head back to our own beach on Sumbawa. Sunsets in Sumbawa are some of the most beautiful in Southeast Asia, so get your cameras ready. You don't want to miss this. Relax after an epic day and fall asleep listening to the sounds of the sea.

Satonda Island

Today we are heading out on our very own liveaboard boat, an amazing Tru Exclusive. We will be on a converted traditional wooden boat that has been transformed for this lifetime journey! We share a dormitory on the upper deck and have traditional showers. It's a truly unique backpacking trip that you won't find anywhere else! The first part of our trip takes us to Satonda Island. Grab your snorkelling mask and dive into the salt lake crater. The unspoilt marine life is incredible. For dinner, we enjoy a delicious local meal on the deck as the sun sets. With a beer in hand, it was a great first day at sea. Get ready to sail through the night as we continue the adventure to the next destinations!

Wake up, breathe in the fresh air of Komodo National Park and marvel at one of the most beautiful sunrises you'll ever see. Sit back and watch the islands drift by as you savour your breakfast. We sail to Manta Point, a unique opportunity to snorkel among the gentle giants. Manta Point is home to families of manta rays, and although intimidating in size, they really are harmless, humble giants. We visit the Pink Beach. Yes, it really is pink! Before we hike to the stunning viewpoint on Padar Island for sunset. It really is breathtaking. Then it's back to the boat for a cold beer, a moment you'll never forget with your TruFam.

This is the day you've all been waiting for, and since it's our last day as TruFam, we had to save the best for last. We're off to explore Komodo Island and search for dragons! These prehistoric dino-like creatures are only found on 5 islands worldwide! We will be guided around the island by local rangers who will explain everything you need to know. Komodo experts at their best! What a day! We say goodbye to our captain and crew and check into our beautiful resort in Labuan Bajo, Flores. There we enjoy our last dinner and drinks with the crew! It was an epic tour. Have a booze, party until your feet hurt, go back and cry into your pillow - whatever helps you with the thought of leaving the TruFam.

Today is check-out day. Enjoy a relaxed morning. Give your TruCrew a huge hug, a fist bump or a wave. Whatever works for you. Relax on Flores, head to Bali or even book the next tour so we don't have to say goodbye. It's been a wild time.

Yes, many of our participants are travelling alone. When you join our trip, you immediately become part of a group and have the opportunity to meet other adventurers. It's a fantastic opportunity to make new friends and share unforgettable experiences together!

You can secure your tour with a deposit of 200 EUR. The balance is not due until 45 days before the start of the tour. However, if you book within 45 days of the tour start date, the full tour price is payable immediately. This means you can plan your trip flexibly and look forward to your adventure!

If you make an enquiry, we will then contact you by phone to discuss all the details for preparing the offer. For example, we will clarify whether you need a flight offer and discuss all the important travel topics with you. You will then receive a personalised offer from your travel consultant by email. This ensures that all your wishes are taken into account and that you are well informed.

After your booking, you will receive a tour confirmation and your flight documents if you have booked the flight through us. You will be given access to a packing list and to online groups where you can exchange ideas with other participants. Your tour guide will contact you around 2-4 weeks before the start of the tour and provide you with final details about your journey and the start of the tour. This way you are well prepared and can network with your fellow travellers in advance.

As the group participants are travelling from many different countries, the flights to and from the tour are booked individually and are not included in the tour price. We will be happy to create and send you a suitable flight offer. Simply make a non-binding enquiry or let us know in the notes when booking and we will send you a flight offer once your booking has been finalised. This way you can ensure that you get the best possible flight for your needs and that your journey goes smoothly.

Latest arrival time:
You can arrive at any time on the first day of the tour. However, a welcome dinner is planned in the evening, which is why you should be at your first accommodation before 6 pm if possible so as not to miss it. This way you can get to know the other participants right at the start and have a relaxed start to your adventure.

Airport transfer:
The airport transfer on your arrival on day 1 is not included in the price. If you would like a transfer, just let us know in the notes field when you book, this can be added for 33.00 EUR. We can also book this later if you are not sure yet.

Airport transfer:
The airport transfer after the end of the tour is not included in the price, as many participants travel on individually within the country. However, your guide will be happy to organise a transfer for you on site for a small fee. This way you can finish your trip relaxed and worry-free. Simply speak to your guide to clarify the details and book the transfer.

Of course, you are also free to go out to eat on your own or with other participants. There are numerous inexpensive and good options on site to cater for you. Yes, that's no problem. You will be asked about your dietary requirements during the booking process. Travel health insurance is compulsory on this tour to protect you. This can already be taken out at a reasonable price. We also recommend taking out travel cancellation, trip interruption and baggage insurance. These insurances offer you comprehensive protection and security during your trip.

We recommend travelling with a rucksack and packing light! 10-20kg should be enough. It's usually quite hot and it's no fun lugging around a huge suitcase. You can do your laundry or have it done for little money in most accommodation.
