This trip takes you from Nairobi to the world-famous Masai Mara, on to Lake Nakuru National Park, across Uganda to Lake Bunyonyi, into the Kalinzu Forest and to Jinja. You can expect game drives in search of the Big Five, gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, chimpanzee tracking in Kalinzu Forest and authentic G-for-Good experiences along the way. Arrival in Nairobi possible at any time. After check-in, you will meet your guide and the group at the welcome meeting and receive all the important information for the trip. Afterwards, you have the option of having dinner with the group and starting your East African adventure in a relaxed atmosphere.

Today you will travel through the Great Rift Valley towards the Masai Mara, one of Africa's most famous safari areas. The first game drive is scheduled for the late afternoon and, with a bit of luck, you may spot some of the region's famous wild animals.

The day starts with an early game drive, when many animals are particularly active. Later in the day, you will continue to explore the vast plains and river landscapes of the Masai Mara and keep an eye out for elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests and perhaps even cats of prey.

Today you leave the Masai Mara and drive on towards Nakuru. On the way, you will stop at the Ubuntu Café, supported by G Adventures, before experiencing another safari in Lake Nakuru National Park and keeping an eye out for buffalo, impala, leopard and many bird species.

In the morning, another game drive awaits you in Lake Nakuru National Park. Then it's on to Eldoret, where you will spend the night after an eventful day.

Today you cross the border into Uganda and travel on to the outskirts of the capital Kampala. A long day of travelling, during which you watch the East African landscape pass you by and get in the mood for the Uganda part of the tour.

Make yourself comfortable, because today you are travelling on to Lake Bunyonyi. On the way, you will cross the equator and later reach one of the most beautiful regions in Uganda, surrounded by green hills and calm waters.

Today, one of the biggest highlights of the entire trip is on the programme: gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Together with experienced guides, you will hike through the dense forest in search of a family of mountain gorillas. This encounter is one of the most impressive animal experiences that Africa has to offer.

Today you have free time to enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Lake Bunyonyi. Whether you simply want to relax, take in the view or get active, this day offers a peaceful break in the middle of nature.

Today you continue to the Kalinzu Forest Reserve. During the journey, you can observe Uganda's varied landscape before reaching your camp near the forest.

Early in the morning, you will go chimpanzee tracking in Kalinzu Forest and observe these fascinating animals in their natural habitat. You will then visit a tea plantation before travelling on towards Lake Mburo National Park.

Today you travel to Jinja, the adventure capital of Uganda. On the way, you cross the equator again and visit the AidChild Equation Café and Gallery, where your lunch also supports a social project.

The day in Jinja is at your leisure. You can enjoy the relaxed atmosphere by the Nile or opt for various adventure activities. Jinja is known for outdoor experiences and is considered one of the most exciting places in Uganda for active travellers.

Today you travel back to Kenya and drive to Eldoret. This day serves as a stopover between two longer driving days before travelling back to Nairobi the next day.
