Arrival in Nairobi possible at any time. No activities are planned until the evening meet and greet. At the welcome moment, you will get to know your guide and the group and receive all the important information for the upcoming safari.

Today you will be travelling through the Great Rift Valley towards the Masai Mara, one of Africa's most famous conservation areas. After arriving at the safari camp, the first game drive is already on the programme in the late afternoon. With a bit of luck, you may spot some of the Big Five today.

The day starts with another safari when the animals are particularly active. Look out for elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests and, with a bit of luck, cats of prey. In between, there is free time to enjoy the special safari feeling in this impressive landscape.

Today you return to Nairobi. On the way or on your return, you will visit the Amani Ya Juu project supported by G Adventures, where you will have lunch with the group and learn more about how local women are supported through entrepreneurship and fair trade. Afterwards, you will have free time in Nairobi.

Today you travel on to Tanzania. After crossing the border, you will reach Arusha, a lively town at the foot of Mount Meru, in the afternoon. There you can gather your first impressions and get in the mood for the Tanzanian part of the journey.

The journey continues to Mto wa Mbu, where you will gain authentic insights into local life during a guided village visit. Together with a local family, you will enjoy a traditional lunch. In the afternoon, you will go on a safari in Lake Manyara National Park, where you will be on the lookout for elephants, giraffes, hippos and the famous tree-climbing lions.

Today you continue through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to the Serengeti National Park. On the way, you can already observe the endless savannahs, acacia landscapes and numerous animal species. After arriving in the Serengeti, you will experience another safari in one of the most famous wildlife areas in the world.
Hotel: Seronera Campsite (or similar)
A full-day safari drive in the Serengeti is on the programme today. Enjoy the vastness of this unique landscape with a picnic in the bush and plenty of animal sightings. Look out for the Big Five again and experience wild Africa in a particularly intense way.

In the morning, you will go on another game drive in the Serengeti before slowly bidding farewell to this special place. Then it's on to the Ngorongoro Crater, where you can experience more game viewing. In the evening, you will enjoy a spectacular view over this impressive landscape from the camp on the crater rim.

Today you will visit a real Maasai village and learn about the Clean Cookstove project supported by G Adventures. Then it's back to Arusha, where the journey ends on arrival. We say: See you soon! :)
