You start in Quito, then travel on to the Galapagos, where you will experience an intense mix of nature, wildlife and active excursions. Next, it's on to Peru, where some of South America's most fascinating destinations await you, including Lima, Cusco, the Sacred Valley, and Machu Picchu. Arrival in Quito. Today you can settle in and get in the mood for your adventure. In the evening, you'll meet your group and guide at the Welcome Meeting and receive all the important information for your trip.

Early in the morning, you fly to the Galápagos Islands. After arriving, you will head to the highlands of Santa Cruz, where you will experience giant tortoises in their natural habitat. After that, you will travel on to Puerto Ayora.

Today it's all about activity. You'll head to stunning Tortuga Bay for a kayaking and snorkelling excursion. In the afternoon, you'll visit the Charles Darwin Research Station and the Fausto Llerena Breeding Centre to learn about the conservation of the unique Galapagos wildlife.

The morning is yours to spend as you please before continuing by speedboat to Floreana. Once there, you'll check into your community-based accommodation, gaining an authentic insight into life on one of the more remote Galápagos Islands.

On the morning, you'll head to Loberia, where you can snorkel or swim directly from the beach. In the afternoon, you'll explore the rarely visited highlands of Floreana and learn about the island's exciting history with pirates, whalers, and early settlers.

Today you will travel on to Isabela by speedboat. There you will hike to the viewpoint of the Sierra Negra volcano, whose crater is one of the largest in the world. Afterwards, you will return to Puerto Villamil by downhill bike.

The morning is free before you explore Las Tintoreras in the afternoon. There you will go kayaking and snorkelling, looking out for white-tipped reef sharks, sea turtles, marine iguanas, manta rays, and with a bit of luck, even Galapagos penguins.

In the morning, you'll visit the giant tortoise breeding station on Isabela. Afterwards, you'll take a speedboat back to Santa Cruz. The rest of the day is at your leisure to calmly enjoy Puerto Ayora once more.

Today you leave the Galápagos Islands. You travel back to Quito via Baltra, where you will spend one last night.

Today, we're heading to the Sacred Valley. You'll visit the women's weaving project in Ccaccaccollo, witness a pottery demonstration in Cuyo Chico, and enjoy lunch at the Parwa Community Restaurant. Afterwards, you'll continue on to Ollantaytambo.

You'll discover more highlights of the Sacred Valley. On the agenda are the Maras salt mines, the circular terraces of Moray, and the ruins of Chinchero. In between, you'll repeatedly enjoy fantastic views of the Andean landscape.

After breakfast, you'll visit the ruins of Ollantaytambo. Afterwards, it's time to take the train to Aguas Calientes, the starting point for Machu Picchu. There will be time to explore the town and get in the mood for the next big highlight of the trip.

Early in the morning, you'll travel up to Machu Picchu. During a guided tour, you'll discover the legendary Inca city and learn more about its history, temples, and unique energy. Afterwards, you'll return to Cusco by train and transfer.
