Bangkok baby, your 37-day adventure begins! So you've made it to this lively and vibrant city. On the first day you have time to settle in and relax, wash off the stresses and strains of travelling, get to know the rest of your group, also known as TruFam, and explore the area. Maybe you'll check out some markets or try some street food, whatever you fancy! In the evening, it's time for our welcome dinner at one of our favourite restaurants on Khao San Road! Get to know your fellow travellers over a bucket or two (or another drink of your choice). Holiday mode is on and I'm warning you, you'll never want to switch it off again!
Activities: Welcome Dinner
We'll start the trip on a high note and explore the capital from the water - yes, you read that right! We'll cruise along the Chao Phraya River before visiting some of Thailand's most famous temples - Wat Arun & Wat Pho, where you're sure to take plenty of insta-worthy photos! The rest of the day is free for you to explore the craziness of this beautiful city until we meet up again in the evening to enjoy delicious food and dance the night away with your new TruFam!
We get it, the struggle is real, so we spend our second day relaxing, chilling and having a great time (if you know what we mean). It's time to unwind with a traditional Thai massage before we travel by overnight train to the stunning Khao Sok National Park in the southern part of Thailand!
Exploring Bangkok, Thai massage & overnight stay on the train
2x breakfast
Rise and shine! We've arrived at Surat Thani railway station and it's finally time to explore the wonders of Khao Sok National Park, where you'll experience the most breathtaking scenery! Imagine low clouds hovering over the limestone mountains surrounding the emerald green lake... Sounds dreamy, doesn't it? We'll spend the day floating on the lake, kayaking or simply relaxing on the shore before returning to the floating bungalows where we'll spend the night and enjoy an incredible Thai buffet dinner! And as if things couldn't get any better, the next day we'll head to one of our favourite beaches in the world, Bottle Beach, for the most epic TruExclusive experience! We'll play volleyball, swim or kayak, hike to an incredible viewpoint and finish the day with dinner on the beach (of course), followed by a few too many cocktails around the campfire with our own private fire show.... Can it get any better than that? Probably not.

Khao Sok National Park & Bottle Beach Experience
Breakfast, 2x lunch & dinner
Enjoy a leisurely morning, sleep in, relax on the beach, go for a hike through the jungle or do whatever you like, but make sure you recharge your batteries before it's time to really work up a sweat.... You know what's coming! We head to a local gym where we'll have the opportunity to practise the ancient art of Muay Thai, Thailand's national sport. We enter the ring before checking into our new home, freshening up, relaxing and trying out all the incredible bars and restaurants for the next few days! We'll be living our best pirate life on our own private boat cruise as we sail along the coast of the island, exploring the incredible sea life and catching some rays as we relax with a drink or two in hand and music playing all day long! We'll even stop for lunch before returning in time to watch another magical sunset and dance the night away once more in Koh Phangan. Alternatively, a quiet evening by the pool/beach bar can be arranged!
Muay Thai Lesson & Koh Phangan Island Boat Trip
Lunch
Say goodbye to the wonderful island of Koh Phangan and hello to its enchanting little neighbour Koh Tao. An incredible island bursting with nature, full of coconut farms, fishing villages and best known for its incredible dive sites, beautiful beaches and laid-back lifestyle. As soon as we arrive, we check into our hotel near Sairee Beach, which is now lined with cool little restaurants and beach bars (and of course there are plenty of diving schools too). We spend the afternoon by the pool, exploring the town or relaxing on the beach before hitting some of the bars and seeing where the night takes us! The next day we'll see what snorkelling and diving in Koh Tao is all about, we'll even visit a beautiful island called Koh Nang Yuan. And to make things even better, snorkelling equipment, lunch and drinks on the boat will be covered by us! However, if you'd prefer to arrange a diving session, then speak to your Travel Ninja or another member of the Tru team in advance so they can organise that for you! Afterwards, we'll head to one of the island's lovely restaurants for dinner, where we'll toast with a few beers (or cocktails, maybe water if you like) in one of the many small bars on Sairee Beach. On our last day in this little paradise, we have options... You can join us at Tanote Bay, where we can arrange an action-packed day of some extreme sports, or you can just spend the day in bed until we check out and begin our journey to our next destination.... It's entirely up to you!

We can hike to the viewpoint, stroll around town, relax on the beach with a cocktail in hand, enjoy the lively nightlife and most importantly go to some beach parties that often last until the early hours of the morning. Whatever you do, you know it's going to be epic! We'll spend some time in Maya Bay (iykyk) where you'll spend a day walking in the footsteps of Leo DiCaprio! Of course, we'll do more snorkelling, visit the Viking Cave and even go to Monkey Beach (yes, it's real) before returning to watch another stunning sunset from the boat. Enjoy life to the full! On to the last stop... Phuket (no, we didn't exactly swear). Here we'll be staying near Patong Beach, where there's sooo much for you to do. So relax a little, explore the area and get ready to spend our last evening in one of the most epic countries in South East Asia! Let's end our Thailand experience on a high before we head off to our next destination, Cambodia!

Lunch
Welcome to Cambodia! Travelling has probably taken its toll on you, so let's meet our next Travel Ninja who will take us straight to our hotel! You'll have the whole day to relax before heading to the legendary Pub Street. You heard right. PUB. STREET. A place with crazy bars, weird and wonderful food and enough neon lights to make Blackpool look like amateur hour. And if you fancy it, you can have a drink or two with the TruFam. We start our second day in Cambodia with another TruExclusive! This time we hop on a tuk tuk and travel through the bustling streets of Siem Riep for an incredible cultural experience. We'll take on the role of a local mango and rice farmer and learn what it takes to harvest everyone's favourite tropical fruit (when in season). The evening is free for you to relax or take a dip in the pool before we head out for a magical sunset BBQ in the evening. Tomorrow you have an early and busy day ahead of you, so get a good night's sleep and recharge your batteries! It's going to be a good day!
1 X lunch
Get up, people. We told you it would be an early start... On your last day in Siem Reap, we're heading out to visit the largest religious monument in the world. Say (Angkor) what? Get ready to take photos as we arrive at the UNESCO World Heritage Site in time for the beautiful sunrise. We'll spend the rest of the day relaxing, exploring Siem Reap and taking a much-needed nap before spending our last night on Pub Street. Let's make this one unforgettable!
Sunrise at Angkor Wat
Dinner
An exciting day awaits you today as we welcome the capital of Cambodia, Phnom Penh. We understand you'll be tired, so take a nap, catch up with your loved ones and enjoy the ride! Then we stop for lunch in the countryside before checking in and heading straight to the riverside for a lovely evening with the TruFam. The next morning we visit the Killing Fields, where an eerie genocide in Cambodia claimed the lives of millions of people, and the S21 prison where the Khmer Rouge held 17,000 people, very few of whom survived. Of course, today's visit won't be easy, but it's an important part of Cambodia's recent history and definitely worth a visit. In the evening, you can spend your evening as you wish.
Khmer Killing Fields & 21
Day 20 has dawned and do you know what that means? No? Of course you don't. Today we'll be sliding and sliding by the riverside at Arcadia Waterpark in Kampot! Surrounded by stunning scenery, cool water, rope swings and much more, this is the perfect place to let off steam with your TruFam! Spend your day sunbathing, kayaking, paddling or flying high on "The Blob" before plunging into the water, losing your bikini bottoms and surfacing with a splash. If you haven't realised it yet, it's going to be a great day! The next day we'll head to a local pepper plantation where we'll learn all about the famous Kampot pepper. You can hardly believe it, but it's going to be a fun day! Get ready, because once you've gained all that knowledge, we'll head straight to the kitchen for a traditional Cambodian cooking class! In the evening, we'll make our way to the water's edge to enjoy a nice dinner overlooking the river. Sounds bloody lovely, doesn't it?
Water activities, pepper plantations & cookery course
Lunch
We travel to Koh Rong and cross over on a longtail boat.
They say you haven't seen beauty until you've seen this place, and they're right (Koh) Rong. Today we're going to the island of dreams! Just imagine. Crystal clear water, a cool breeze, white sand, beach huts and hammocks. Sounds pretty much like a dream, doesn't it? Well, that's how you'll spend your day today before we set off on a little adventure tomorrow morning! The next day is all about relaxation. Sleep in, enjoy a delicious breakfast from local vendors and take a little walk before we hop from island to island in style in a traditional longtail boat (an absolute bargain at $10), soak up the sun rays, get a tan and explore the diverse marine life. Then join us on a secluded beach for an incredible BBQ lunch. After lunch, we'll return for one last night on this beautiful island, so get ready to have a beer or two and dance the night away with the TruFam!
Travel by longtail boat, boat and bus from Koh Rong to Phnom Penh
The journey continues to Vietnam.
Ah, the last day in Cambodia! But lucky for you, your trip isn't over yet! It's been an incredible 10 days, but now it's finally time to head to the airport and board your next flight. Vietnam, here we come! Once we reach Ho Chi Minh City and begin our final leg of this crazy Ultimate Asia Tour, we'll take it easy, grab a bite to eat and enjoy another delicious dinner!
Trip to Vietnam
We'll dive straight into the history of this beautiful country and head to the iconic and historic city of Saigon, where we'll learn all about the Vietnam War that lasted over 20 years and still affects so many lives today. We will visit Independence Square before moving on to the cathedral and post office. Of course, we can't miss a visit to a food market on our first day, so that's where we'll go next! After that, we'll freshen up for dinner and see where the evening takes us! A big day awaits us in the morning, so wear comfortable clothes as we head to the Cu Chi Tunnels. The Cu Chi Tunnels were built in the late 1940s and stretch for almost 250 kilometres. They were used to house troops, transport communications and supplies, lay booby traps before returning to safety, and for many other purposes. You will have the opportunity to get up close and personal and explore some of the underground hiding places. We return in the afternoon and prepare to bid farewell to Ho Chi Minh City as we head to our next destination - Hoi An!
Ho Chi Minh city tour, war museum, exploration of the Cu Chi tunnels
2x breakfast
Welcome to Hoi An! Prepare yourself for 3 incredibly busy days as we explore everything this place has to offer! Besides its World Heritage Site status, Hoi An is probably best known for its Vietnamese lanterns that light up by the river every evening. So we'd better let the locals teach you how to make your own lantern before we move on to another famous activity: customising your own clothes, according to your style and design preferences! Later, we'll visit Thinhs, a local café owned by a Tru friend of ours, Tinh, who grows his own coffee beans and has one of the best Vietnamese coffees in the country! We'll even learn the process of developing and roasting the beans before tasting our own coffee! The rest of the afternoon is free for us to explore! You've had a busy day, so the next morning feel free to ignore your alarm as many times as you like, walk along the river, visit the famous Golden Bridge and lose yourself in the beauty of this city. It's day 30, our last day in Hoi An, and we're off on an exciting adventure! We take a bike ride through the countryside and reach our destination where we will tick off a point 10 experience from our bucket list. We're heading to the Coconut Woods where you'll ride in a basket boat for the first time. Get ready to laugh your head off as you glide through the environment until things get pretty wild, to say the least, when you're shown exactly what these boats are used for! Once we've worked up an appetite, we finish our day and head to the local family for dinner.

We set off in open war jeeps, stop for a few snapshots, eat a delicious lunch and take a cheeky dip in the water before reaching Hue! It's going to be a great day, I promise! Once we've checked in and settled in, we're off to explore Hue's nightlife, sample a few local beers and dance the night away. No trip is complete without an authentic cooking class, so prepare to cook up a storm, slicing and dicing and savouring every bite of your culinary masterpiece! After an incredible day, we bid farewell to Hue and head off to our next destination - Ninh Binh!

With around 500 steps to the top, you can be sure the views will be breathtaking! The next day we'll head to arguably one of the most iconic places in Asia - Halong Bay.
Picture this. Bright green sea, thousands of limestone islands scattered everywhere and a night under the stars... This is paradise! We'll set sail, visit some beaches and have an altogether incredible day at sea. In the evening, we'll even learn to make spring rolls while watching the sunset!
