Landing in Rio! Come whenever you want today, drop off your luggage and throw yourself into the crazy life of this city! Rio is the former capital of Brazil and still the beating heart of the country. It is home to famous sights such as Copacabana Beach and the statue of Christ the Redeemer. This is our first stop on the tour and the perfect place to get to know the culture and atmosphere of Brazil. In the evening, we'll go for a welcome dinner and maybe even immerse ourselves in Brazil's famous nightlife. Let's go!

Let's start as we mean to go on! Grab some breakfast before we head to Corcovado, the famous mountain in the heart of Brazil where the statue of Christ stands. Once at the top, we'll have time to explore the area and take the perfect Instagram photo with the legendary backdrop. Today we will also be accompanied by our local guide from Rio, who will answer all your questions about this „new wonder of the world”. Get your camera ready, trust us, it's a worldly sight ;) Next, we'll take the cable car to Sugar Loaf Mountain! Yes, we know - epic, right? It's the best way to get a 360-degree view of this incredible city. After lunch, we'll explore the Santa Teresa neighbourhood. This neighbourhood is known for its bohemian charm and hilltop location. After an afternoon of exploring, we head to dinner and even indulge in a few caipirinhas. If you're going to do it, do you?

Wakey, wakey! It's our last full day in Rio and we're starting with a very special experience. This morning we're off to the Favela Experience, a tour of the favelas organised by Planeterra. The favelas are an important part of Brazilian culture and this tour is organised and led locally to ensure sustainable economic development for the residents of the favelas - a win-win situation for everyone! After learning about the local culture in the morning, it's on to the world-famous Copacabana beach! Here we can play volleyball, swim and enjoy the sun. We will also watch the sunset from a viewpoint near this legendary beach. The sunsets in Brazil are known for their beauty, so sit back, relax and enjoy the view!

Goodbye Rio, hello Ilha Grande! This morning we are picked up and driven to the harbour to take the ferry to the island and escape the hustle and bustle of the city. We arrive on the tranquil island surrounded by sand and crystal clear waters in the early afternoon. Unpack your bags and relax a little before we head off for the afternoon's activity - paddling (or kayaking if you prefer!). The afternoon is all about splashing around and learning a new hobby. If you still fancy the beach afterwards, let's go!

Today we're off to Lopes Mendez for a day of swimming, chilling on the beach and exploring the area! We will also stroll to Praia do Pouso, another WONDERFUL Brazilian beach. Trust us, you'll all be volleyball pros by the end of the day. After a much-needed day of relaxation, we return to the hotel to wash off the sand and get ready for dinner. What a fantastic day!

Good morning everyone! This morning we're off to a new destination - Paraty! It has it all: history, charm, a relaxed atmosphere and breathtaking nature. We arrive around midday and the rest of the day is all yours. Just do what you like, chill out, shop till you drop or treat yourself to a cocktail in the nearest beach bar - whatever you do, you'll definitely be living the Brazilian dream. In the late afternoon we will meet at the hotel and go for a walk to get to know the area better! We'll also squeeze in a tasting of the local spirit, cachaça - can it get any better than that?

Are you ready for an island hopping tour? Of course you are! We have a relaxed start to the day before we are picked up and set off on a fantastic boat tour from beach to beach. We visit Praia Vermelha, Praia da Lula, Ilha Comprida and Lagoa Azul. After letting off steam to our hearts' content and soaking up all the sun's rays, we have a few hours to chill out before heading out for a local dinner.

Today we're off to our last destination, São Paulo! It's going to be a long day, but don't worry, grab your snacks and your best „Would you rather...“ questions and get ready for the last day with your new travel partners. We arrive in the late afternoon and get ready for one last evening together. There will be tears, delicious food and plenty of cocktails - it's sure to be a night to remember!

Today is the day we say goodbye ... we're not crying, you're crying. São Paulo is the perfect place to end this adventure, and if you want to stay a little longer, there are plenty of museums, food markets and street art to discover. What an incredible 9 days - we explored cities and jumped from island to island. After this trip, Brazil will always have a place in our hearts. Next year again?
