Landung in Rio! Komm heute wann immer du willst, stell dein Gepäck ab und stürz dich ins verrückte Leben dieser Stadt! Rio ist die ehemalige Hauptstadt Brasiliens und nach wie vor das pulsierende Herz des Landes. Hier befinden sich berühmte Sehenswürdigkeiten wie der Copacabana-Strand und die Christusstatue. Dies ist unser erster Halt auf der Tour und der perfekte Ort, um die Kultur und Atmosphäre Brasiliens kennenzulernen. Am Abend gehen wir zum Willkommensdinner und vielleicht sogar ein bisschen in das berühmte Nachtleben Brasiliens eintauchen. Los geht's!

Rio de Janeiro - Entdecke Rio de Janeiro

Lasst uns so starten, wie wir weitermachen wollen! Schnappt euch ein Frühstück, bevor wir zum Corcovado fahren, dem berühmten Berg im Herzen Brasiliens, auf dem die Christusstatue steht. Oben angekommen, haben wir Zeit, die Gegend zu erkunden und das perfekte Instagram-Foto mit dem legendären Hintergrund zu schießen. Heute begleitet uns auch unser lokaler Guide aus Rio, der alle deine Fragen zu diesem „neuen Weltwunder” beantworten wird. Halte deine Kamera bereit, vertrau uns, es ist ein weltmännischer Anblick! ;) Als Nächstes fahren wir mit der Seilbahn zum Zuckerhut! Ja, wir wissen – episch, oder? Das ist die beste Möglichkeit, um einen 360-Grad-Blick auf diese unglaubliche Stadt zu genießen. Nach dem Mittagessen erkunden wir das Viertel Santa Teresa. Diese Gegend ist bekannt für ihren bohemischen Charme und ihre Lage auf einem Hügel. Nach einem Nachmittag voller Entdeckungen gehen wir zum Abendessen und gönnen uns sogar ein paar Caipirinhas. Wenn schon, denn schon, oder?

Rio de Janeiro - Favelas und die Copacobana

Wakey, Wakey! Es ist unser letzter voller Tag in Rio und wir starten mit einem ganz besonderen Erlebnis. Heute Morgen geht's zur Favela Experience, einer von Planeterra unterstützten Tour durch die Favelas. Die Favelas sind ein wichtiger Teil der brasilianischen Kultur und diese Tour wird vor Ort organisiert und geleitet, um eine nachhaltige wirtschaftliche Entwicklung für die Bewohner der Favelas zu gewährleisten – eine Win-Win-Situation für alle! Nachdem wir am Vormittag etwas über die lokale Kultur gelernt haben, geht es weiter zum weltberühmten Copacabana-Strand! Hier können wir Volleyball spielen, schwimmen und die Sonne genießen. Außerdem werden wir den Sonnenuntergang von einem Aussichtspunkt in der Nähe dieses legendären Strandes aus beobachten. Die Sonnenuntergänge in Brasilien sind bekannt für ihre Schönheit, also lehnt euch zurück, entspannt euch und genießt den Ausblick!

Ilha Grande - Erkundung der Ilha Grande und Paddeln

Tschüss Rio, hallo Ilha Grande! Heute Morgen werden wir abgeholt und zum Hafen gefahren, um mit der Fähre auf die Insel zu fahren und dem Trubel der Stadt zu entfliehen. Am frühen Nachmittag kommen wir in der ruhigen, von Sand und kristallklarem Wasser umgebenen Insel an. Packt eure Sachen aus und entspannt euch ein wenig, bevor wir uns zur Aktivität des Nachmittags begeben – Paddeln (oder Kajakfahren, wenn ihr das lieber möchtet!). Der Nachmittag steht ganz im Zeichen des Planschens und des Erlernens eines neuen Hobbys. Wenn ihr danach noch Lust auf Strand habt, nichts wie hin!

Lopes Mendez - Strandtag

Heute hauen wir ab nach Lopes Mendez, um einen Tag lang zu schwimmen, am Strand zu chillen und die Gegend zu erkunden! Wir werden auch zur Praia do Pouso schlendern, einem weiteren WUNDERSCHÖNEN brasilianischen Strand. Glaubt uns, am Ende des Tages werdet ihr alle Volleyball-Profis sein. Nach einem dringend benötigten Tag zum Entspannen kehren wir zum Hotel zurück, um uns den Sand abzuwaschen und uns für das Abendessen fertig zu machen. Was für ein traumhafter Tag!

Paraty - Cachaça-Verkostung und Stadterkundung

Guten Morgen zusammen! Heute Morgen geht's zu einem neuen Reiseziel – Paraty! Hier gibt's einfach alles: Geschichte, Charme, eine entspannte Atmosphäre und eine atemberaubende Natur. Wir kommen gegen Mittag an und der Rest des Tages gehört ganz euch. Macht einfach, was ihr wollt, chillt, shoppen bis zum Umfallen oder gönnt euch einen Cocktail in der nächsten Strandbar – was auch immer ihr macht, ihr werdet auf jeden Fall euren brasilianischen Traum leben. Am späten Nachmittag treffen wir uns im Hotel und machen einen Spaziergang, um die Gegend besser kennenzulernen! Wir werden auch eine Verkostung der lokalen Spirituose Cachaça einlegen – kann es noch besser werden?

Paraty - Island Hopping

Bist du bereit für eine Inselhopping-Tour? Klar bist du das! Wir starten ganz entspannt in den Tag, bevor wir abgeholt werden und zu einer traumhaften Bootstour von Strand zu Strand aufbrechen. Wir besuchen Praia Vermelha, Praia da Lula, Ilha Comprida und Lagoa Azul. Nachdem wir uns nach Herzenslust ausgetobt und alle Sonnenstrahlen getankt haben, haben wir ein paar Stunden Zeit zum Chillen, bevor wir uns auf den Weg zu einem lokalen Abendessen machen.

Heute geht's weiter zu unserem letzten Reiseziel São Paulo! Es wird ein langer Tag, aber keine Sorge, schnapp dir deine Snacks und deine besten „Würdest du lieber...“-Fragen und mach dich bereit für den letzten Tag mit deinen neuen Reisepartnern. Wir kommen am späten Nachmittag an und machen uns für einen letzten gemeinsamen Abend fertig. Es wird Tränen geben, leckeres Essen und jede Menge Cocktails – das wird sicher eine unvergessliche Nacht!

Yes, many of our participants are travelling alone. When you join our trip, you immediately become part of a group and have the opportunity to meet other adventurers. It's a fantastic opportunity to make new friends and share unforgettable experiences together!
How does the down payment work?
You can secure your tour with a deposit of 200 EUR. The balance is not due until 45 days before the start of the tour. However, if you book within 45 days of the tour start date, the full tour price is payable immediately. This means you can plan your trip flexibly and look forward to your adventure!
What happens after my enquiry?
If you make an enquiry, we will then contact you by phone to discuss all the details for preparing the offer. For example, we will clarify whether you need a flight offer and discuss all the important travel topics with you. You will then receive a personalised offer from your travel consultant by email. This ensures that all your wishes are taken into account and that you are well informed.
What happens after the booking?
After your booking, you will receive a tour confirmation and your flight documents if you have booked the flight through us. You will be given access to a packing list and to online groups where you can exchange ideas with other participants. Your tour guide will contact you around 2-4 weeks before the start of the tour and provide you with final details about your journey and the start of the tour. This way you are well prepared and can network with your fellow travellers in advance.
Is the international flight to and from the tour included?
As the group participants are travelling from many different countries, the flights to and from the tour are booked individually and are not included in the tour price. We will be happy to create and send you a suitable flight offer. Simply make a non-binding enquiry or let us know in the notes when booking and we will send you a flight offer once your booking has been finalised. You can arrive at any time on the first day of the tour. However, a welcome dinner is planned in the evening, which is why you should be at your first accommodation before 6 pm if possible so as not to miss it. When will I meet my group leader?
Your group leader will contact you about a week before your trip. In this message, they will introduce themselves and confirm your meeting point or flight details. Our tour participants come from all over the world! On our trips, you will meet adventurers from different countries and cultures, which makes every tour a unique and enriching experience. This diversity makes for exciting conversations and new friendships that last beyond the trip.

As a rule, 20-30% of participants come from German-speaking countries. Other frequent countries of origin are the Netherlands, Italy, Sweden, the UK, Australia, Brazil and Japan.
Can I get in touch with participants before the tour starts?

The guide always has great tips for your free time. If you don't want to take part in an activity, that's no problem. Just let the guide know. Do I need to speak good English to take part in the tour?
Don't worry if your English is not perfect. The tour guides are used to working with participants whose native language is not English and will adapt accordingly. There are also often many participants from German-speaking countries, which can make communication easier.

You have various options for the meals that are not included. You can join the group and go out to eat together. The guide always has excellent tips for restaurants that offer good value for money. Of course, you are also free to go out to eat on your own or with other participants. There are numerous inexpensive and good options on site to cater for you. This gives you the flexibility to organise your meals according to your own wishes and needs.

Yes, that's no problem. You will be asked about your dietary requirements during the booking process. Which travel insurance policies are compulsory or recommended?

How do I get cash or pay while travelling?
It is best to take a Visa or MasterCard debit or credit card with you. A “normal” debit card will also work at most ATMs. There are many ATMs on site where you can withdraw cash. We also recommend taking a small cash reserve with you and exchanging it locally. We advise against exchanging into the local currency in advance or at the airport, as this is usually associated with higher fees. Your guide will be happy to give you tips on the best places to withdraw or exchange money.

What luggage should I take with me?
We recommend travelling with a rucksack and packing light! 10-20kg should be enough. It's usually quite hot and it's no fun lugging around a huge suitcase. You can do your laundry or have it done for little money in most accommodation.
However, if you prefer a suitcase, that's no problem. You are also welcome to travel with a trolley or suitcase. The important thing is that you feel comfortable and can transport your luggage easily.

Do I need any special vaccinations?

- Cancellation fees in the amount of the deposit up to 35 days before the start of the tour, thereafter full tour price.
