The time has come for your trip of a lifetime! Pack your bags, treat yourself to a beer (what do you mean it's only 8am?), hop on a plane and we'll welcome you then take you to our hotel in Canggu where you'll meet the rest of your TruFam. Your welcome chat with our travelling ninjas will be a highlight in itself, as you'll meet your coolest friend for life (they're not real ninjas - most couldn't punch through a tortilla, but they know how to help you relax and have fun - think less action, more chill). Spend the rest of the day by the pool, head to the beach or explore Canggu before dinner and drinks on the rooftop to meet your new TruFam as your Bali adventure begins.
Activities: Welcome Dinner
So, what better introduction to the rich culture of Bali than going to two of its most famous temples? Firstly, we will go to the Royal Temple of Taman Ayun, which translates as "beautiful garden". Do you know why? Well, obviously it's a beautiful garden; a garden full of fantastic architecture, fish-filled ponds and lush greenery. Then we'll move on to Tanah Lot, which is perched on a rock formation in the sea and, let us tell you right now, is a lot of fun to explore! In the evening, we'll enjoy the spectacular sunset on one of the most picturesque beaches in the area before spending a rollicking night in Canggu, a place where you'll thank us if you want to party. Your liver, however, not so much.

Breakfast
Surf's up, people! Grab your board, hit the beach and let's catch some great waves (surfer lingo for awesome). That's right, it's time for your very own surf lesson at Kuta Beach, one of the best surf spots in Asia. Here, one of our excellent local Kuta instructors will teach you the basics and show you how to make cool moves. When we say cool, we mean we'll be really impressed if you can stand upright for more than 5 seconds, but you never know. Maybe you're a natural. After a day on the water, we return to relax by the rooftop pool or take a walk on the beach before enjoying the sunset with a cocktail in hand and telling the stories of the day's surfing, like when you did that 360 when no one was looking. Of course you did.

Let's go, pack your bags. We're off to the bohemian jungle town of Ubud. Ubud needs little introduction; it's full of famous terraced rice terraces, temples, shrines and, of course, monkeys. Before we get there though, we'll stop to cool off in the most beautiful waterfall you may never have heard of (if you have, 5 points to Gryffindor), the gorgeous Tegenungan Waterfall. Optional activities, including taking those ridiculous photos of you emerging from the water and flinging your hair back for Insta. After we check into the hotel, you'll have some time to look around the city, enjoy the sights, chat to the lovely locals and sample some of Ubud's delicacies. After freshening up, we'll head to one of Bali's coolest live music venues, where they'll be playing hits like "Going Back to Bali", a Balinese remix of the Biggie Smalls classic.

Breakfast
Gordon Ramsay? Jamie Oliver? Heston Flowers-whatever? Yeah, they've got nothing on you after today, because a traditional Indonesian cookery lesson is on the cards. We'll start the day with a little breakfast before heading to the markets for a look at the freshest ingredients Bali has to offer. Then we'll meet the fantastic Wayan and his family (part of our TruFam) to learn how to make some of Bali's most famous dishes, including canang sari, the flower offerings made to the deity. And the best part? You'll get to savour the delicious dishes you've just prepared. Then, with bellies full of delicious Balinese food, we'll head off to meet some of Ubud's cheekiest locals in the sacred monkey forest, where it's believed that the hundreds of monkeys that live there protect the ancient temples within. This protection also means that they will steal anything you have to hand. The Balinese long-tailed monkeys are big fans of designer brands, smartphones, Raybans and AirPods. After a day with these literally cheeky monkeys, it's time to head back to dinner with your TruFam where you can eat, drink, have fun and count all the unforgettable memories you've made so far. It might be late.

Batur. we return to either top up your tan by the pool, buy souvenirs at the colourful and lively local market or have a pilau fight with your tru buddies (get what we did there?).

Breakfast
That's right. We visited the temples. Explored the rice terraces. Seen the monkeys. It's high time we tackled Bali's famous beaches, don't you think? Today we hop on a bus and then take a ferry to the stunning Gili Trawangan, an island that may be small but has a big "Holy crap, this is awesome!" to offer. First, we check into our tropical accommodation in the heart of the island, where we'll spend our last few days before spending the afternoon sipping a beer, lounging by the pool or exploring the many idyllic beaches just a stroll away. Sit back, put your feet up and splash around in the crystal clear waters of the Gili Islands before indulging in delicious food at dinner. Then dress smart (shorts and a reasonably clean t-shirt will do) as we head to the incredible bars of this tiny island to drink responsibly. Did we say "responsibly"? Yes, of course we did. If you want to be. This night can be as casual or as civilised as you want it to be. After all, this is your Tru party.
Off to Gili Trawangan
Breakfast
They call it "island hopping". We call it getting on a boat, speeding across the sapphire waters, feeling the sea breeze in your hair, banishing the hangover in minutes and visiting the most breathtaking sites Bali has to offer. We'll be hopping around the three islands - Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno and Gili Air, home to some of the best snorkelling this incredible place has to offer. You'll see stunning coral, beautiful fish, turtles and maybe even a shark or two. Don't worry, we're only talking whitetip and blacktip reef sharks, the only sharks in the world that love a hug. After marvelling at Bali's incredible marine life, you can enjoy lunch on the beach on Gili Air before enjoying the stunning sunset and an ice-cold cocktail at some of the best beach bars on the island tonight. Unless you've been eaten by a cuddly shark first. Then there are no cocktails for you.

Breakfast
You know one of the best ways to explore the Gili Islands? By boat? By car? Llama? No. Bicycle. Yay! Today we will be exploring the island on one of Gili's only means of transport, the bicycle. We'll all cycle around the island, exploring all the nooks and crannies of this incredible place, before taking a little hike up the hill to see the best viewpoint Gili has to offer. (Which is pretty incredible, if we do say so ourselves. Which we do, by the way). Then you'll have the chance to enjoy one last sunset with your travel mates as you reminisce about your epic time on the trip over a farewell dinner, before wrapping things up Tru-style with a little party to celebrate what we guarantee has been the best 10 days of your life.
