After landing in Sydney, you'll take the included airport transfer to our hostel where you'll meet the rest of your tour group. We'll spend 2 days exploring Sydney's iconic harbour landmarks and stunning beaches like Bondi with a coastal walk before starting our adventure north! (M, A)

We will spend the next 3 nights in the famous surf town of Byron Bay. Aussie surfers will teach you how to surf, you can watch dolphins, relax with morning yoga and enjoy the sunrise on a walk to Cape Byron Lighthouse. (F, A)

Surfers Paradise is the iconic place for all your party and city vibes. During the day you can work on your tan on one of the white sandy beaches along the coast and we'll take an unforgettable jetboat trip. (F)

The capital of Queensland is full of highlights to discover. You can relax in "The Lagoon", Australia's only artificial city beach. (F)

Rainbow Beach is famous for its laid-back lifestyle and stunning beaches. You'll experience this as you relax and unwind before travelling to Fraser Island - one of the absolute highlights on the east coast. You'll drive around the world's largest sand island in your own off-road vehicle and spend the next 3 days on sand dunes and beaches. Our next swim stop is the beautiful turquoise waters of Lake McKenzie, followed by a ride on Eli Creek. Indian Heads Lookout is our next stop, from where we'll have a 360° view of Fraser Island before cooling off in the Champagne Pools. You'll learn about the history of Aboriginal culture on the island, spot dingoes in the wild and see the stars while sleeping with your group in a private and exclusive campsite. After arriving in Noosa, we'll explore the idyllic coastline on the way to the Fairy Pools, an Instagram-worthy spot not to be missed. (2F, 2M, 2A)

Once we reach Airliebeach, you can enjoy some free time on the beach lagoon before we start sailing around the stunning Whitsundays, made up of 74 tropical islands. For the next 2 nights we board our vessel and relax and sunbathe on the deck as we sail to the outer parts of the Great Barrier Reef. Snorkelling and stand-up paddle boarding on the fringing reefs will allow you to observe an abundance of marine life. The next stop is the world-famous Whitehaven Beach, a breathtaking beach with fine white sand. (2F, 2M 2A)

Magnetic Island is our next stop, as we take the ferry to this tropical paradise. For the next 2 days, you'll stay in cabins right on the beach and explore this magical island. Hire a car and explore the hidden beaches, hike up the historic Forts Walk and relax in your hammock by the sea. You might even spot wild koalas and wallabies! (F, A)

The laid-back beachside town of Mission Beach is our next place to relax. There are also plenty of adrenaline-fuelled activities here, such as skydiving at 15,000 feet above the Great Barrier Reef and rainforests or white water rafting on the Tully River, which flows through the World Heritage rainforests. Welcome to the ultimate backpacker adventure centre, Cairns. It's time to tick off a big bucket list item and spend a full day on the Great Barrier Reef. You'll spend the day sailing and snorkelling the unique sites of the World Heritage-listed outer reef. You'll then explore the Australian oasis of the Atherton Tablelands, where you'll swim under waterfalls and extinct volcanic craters and slide down natural rock slides while learning all about this extraordinary place from your experienced guide. Your epic Australian adventure ends in Cairns on the morning of day 28, but we're here to help you with onward travel or work in Oz for the rest of your time in Australia. (2M, A)
