Welcome to Argentina. After your arrival in Buenos Aires, your transfer to the hotel has already been organised. In the evening, you will meet your group and your Expedition Leader at the Welcome Meeting and get ready for your Patagonia adventure.

Today you are flying to Bariloche, in the beautiful Lake District in northern Patagonia. There, during a half-day Circuito Chico tour, you will discover the highlights of the region with magnificent viewpoints, deep blue lakes and mountains.

Today is your day. Make the most of this free time to enjoy Bariloche and its stunning natural surroundings at your own pace, go for a hike, or simply soak up the relaxed atmosphere of the town.

Today, one of the most beautiful border crossings in the world awaits you: the legendary Andino Lakes Crossing. You'll travel by bus, boat, and ferry through a landscape of volcanoes, forests, waterfalls, and crystal-clear lakes from Argentina to Chile. In the evening, you will reach Puerto Varas.

Today, we continue by plane and transfer to one of South America's most spectacular natural regions: Torres del Paine National Park. Even on your arrival, you'll sense that a very special landscape awaits you here. The evening will be dedicated to arriving and marvelling.

You are exploring the national park on a full-day guided excursion. You can expect mighty mountains, turquoise lakes, glaciers, waterfalls, and breathtaking viewpoints time and again. With a bit of luck, you may also spot animals such as condors, foxes, or guanacos.

Today, you'll travel back to Argentina, heading towards El Calafate, the gateway to Patagonia's famous glaciers. The journey itself through the vast landscape is an experience in its own right.

In the morning, you'll gain exciting insights during a talk by a local glacier expert. Afterwards, it's off to the famous Perito Moreno Glacier, where you can marvel at this impressive natural wonder up close. Towering ice walls, cracking sections breaking off, and a scene you won't forget.

You will then fly on to Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world. There you will visit a research centre and hear a fascinating lecture on the indigenous history of Tierra del Fuego and Patagonia. A special highlight that will give the trip a completely different depth.

Today, a real highlight awaits you: an excursion to Martillo Island, where you can experience penguins up close. Together with a nature guide, you'll observe Magellanic and gentoo penguins in their natural habitat and learn more about their behaviour and environment.

You fly back to Buenos Aires. There, you will first have time to experience the city on your own once again. In the evening, you will then immerse yourself in the city's way of life: during a local tango lesson, you will learn your first steps and then experience a real milonga, where locals and dancers dance together.

Today you will explore Buenos Aires on a guided city tour. You will visit well-known places such as Plaza de Mayo, La Boca, San Telmo, and the famous Recoleta Cemetery. This way, you will experience the city once more in all its facets – historic, vibrant, and full of character.
