Flight to the Galápagos Islands. Drive across the island of Santa Cruz in the city and guided tour in the afternoon to the Charles Darwin Research Station, where you can see the famous giant tortoises up close.

Hop on a speedboat and travel to the island of Isabela. Enjoy the view - you might even spot dolphins or whales next to the boat! After you've dropped off your things at the hotel, you'll have a free afternoon to explore the town of Puerto Villamil or laze on the beach.

Hike up the Sierra Negra today and experience a volcano up close. Explore the incredible landscape and enjoy the spectacular views. In the afternoon, you can go snorkelling, visit the breeding station for giant tortoises or take a look at the flamingo lagoon.

Take the speedboat back to Santa Cruz Island and enjoy a free afternoon to explore the town or hike to nearby Tortuga Bay for a swim. Later, you can explore Puerto Ayora and sample the local specialities of the Santa Cruz Brewing Company. Enjoy a bite to eat or head to another bar for a drink (and a dance!).

Take another speedboat to San Cristóbal Island and visit the Galapagos National Park Interpretation Centre near the town to learn more about the unique history of the islands' ecosystems, flora and fauna. Later, you can go snorkelling at Tijeretas and look out for animals such as sea lions, rays and marine iguanas before finding a spot on the Malecón to have a drink and watch the sunset.
