Where you can make a stop

Stopovers are a great way to travel to Australia in a relaxed way. And you can also get to know a new city or country at no (or little) extra cost.

Many backpackers also make a longer stopover for one or more weeks on their way to Australia and travel in South East Asia, for example.

A great stop-over option - Singapore

Another option is to fly via the USA with United Airlines or American Airlines. However, this option is significantly more expensive and the flight times are longer and therefore not necessarily recommended.
