Melbourne - A city to fall in love with

The largest city in the state of Victoria and the second largest city in Australia. Melbourne is also known as the cultural capital of Australia.

In addition to the numerous street art, you will also find many museums, often with free admission, such as the National Arts Gallery. The Shire of Remembrance and the Botanical Gardens are located right next to the National Arts Gallery and are always worth a visit.

At St Kilda Beach, the city beach, you can watch penguins at sunset on the pier as they return from their daily hunt in the bay of Port Phillip. Many sporting events take place in Melbourne, such as the Australian Open in January or Formula 1 in March. If you happen to be in Melbourne at a different time, no problem.

There is also plenty to see outside Melbourne. For example, the Great Ocean Road, one of Australia's highlights. Or how about a wine tour in the beautiful Yarra Valley or the Mornington Peninsula. And the Wilsons Promotory National Park, the southernmost point of the main continent, also has a lot to offer, especially for nature and animal lovers, as does the Grampians National Park, which is only about 3 hours outside of Melbourne.
