Arrival in Lima. After your journey, you'll have time to settle in and prepare for your upcoming Peruvian adventure. In the evening, you'll meet your group and your guide at the Welcome Meeting.

Today you will fly from Lima to Juliaca and then travel on to Puno on Lake Titicaca. The afternoon is at your leisure to acclimatise to the altitude and explore the town.

You'll explore Lake Titicaca on a guided boat tour, visiting Taquile along the way. This is followed by a visit to a small lakeside community where you'll stay overnight with a local family, offering an authentic insight into life in the Peruvian highlands.

After a shared morning with your host family, you'll visit the famous Uros Floating Islands on your way back. There, you'll learn more about the traditional construction methods and way of life of the inhabitants before heading back to Puno.

Today, we head into the Sacred Valley of the Incas. You'll visit a women's weaving cooperative, learn traditional dyeing and weaving techniques, and gain fascinating insights into local crafts. You'll also experience a pottery demonstration in a community, followed by lunch at a community restaurant. Afterwards, you'll continue your journey to Ollantaytambo.

In the morning, you visit the ruins of Ollantaytambo before continuing by train to Aguas Calientes. After a brief orientation on site, you'll have time to explore the small town at the foot of Machu Picchu at your own pace.
