Canggu - Arrival and meeting with the group

After landing in Denpasar, we will pick you up at the airport and take you to our accommodation in Canggu. Meet your travel group and get ready for an epic adventure!

Experience the beautiful culture of Bali as we visit the impressive ancient temples, experience a Bahasa language lesson and learn how to make a canang sari (local offering). Afterwards we enjoy a breathtaking sunset on the beach and prepare for the night!

Canggu - Learn to surf

Today we go to the beach and let local Balinese surfers teach us how to surf - in one of the most famous surfing areas in the world.

Lovina - Discover the town

Our destination today is the relatively unknown natural wonder of Lovina, an unspoilt paradise with breathtaking rice paddies and fascinating culture. On our way there we will visit fascinating temples, epic waterfalls and beautiful rice paddies. Then we arrive at our stunning and unique accommodation high in the mountains, surrounded by rice fields and overlooking the ocean.

Lovina - dolphin watching and local life

After a delicious breakfast on the beach, we board a traditional Balinese outrigger boat and cruise along the beautiful coastline to spot wild dolphins. Afterwards, we visit a local family where you can experience basket weaving and coffee production up close and learn more about traditional Balinese life before we retire to the infinity pool of our villa!

Gili T - Hello paradise

We take the fast ferry to the stunning island of Gili T - a beautiful tropical island with white sand and turquoise waters. In the afternoon, you'll have free time to relax, enjoy the island and get a tan. In the evening, we head out to experience the island's nightlife!

As there are no motorised vehicles on Gili T, we explore the island by bike today, relax on the white sandy beaches and experience a breathtaking sunset - including the legendary Sunset Swing!

Gili T - Snorkelling adventure

We take a boat trip around the three beautiful Gili islands and snorkel in the crystal-clear water where, with a bit of luck, we'll see turtles and much more.

Senaru - Journey to Lombok

This morning we take a short boat trip to another stunning island - Lombok. Lombok is much less visited than its famous neighbouring island and has so much to offer, such as the beautiful waterfalls we will see today. Tonight we stay in a village at the foot of Mount Rinjani, Indonesia's second largest volcano.

Kuta - Traditional Lombok

Today, the sights of Lombok are on the programme: epic viewpoints, rice terraces and traditional villages. We'll experience plenty of beautiful places and culture on our journey from north to south. Once in Kuta, you'll have time to relax by the pool before heading out for dinner and a drink.

The morning is free for you to relax or explore Kuta before we head to some of the incredible beaches that line Lombok's coastline in the afternoon. Then we'll head to one of our favourite sunset spots, where the friendly locals are sure to be happy to have a chat, play with you and maybe even ask you for a photo!

When you say goodbye to Kuta, the relaxed cultural mecca of Ubud awaits you as you take the ferry back to Bali.

You've seen the pictures, now experience Ubud's famous monkey forest for real! A centuries-old temple populated by monkeys, today you have the chance to observe these mischievous monkeys up close.

An early start this morning as you set off before dawn on a unique sunrise hike. Together with a local guide, you will hike up an active volcano and reach the summit as the sun rises above the horizon to enjoy breakfast with a view. Yes, many of our participants are travelling alone. When you join our trip, you immediately become part of a group and have the opportunity to meet other adventurers. It's a fantastic opportunity to make new friends and share unforgettable experiences together!

You can secure your tour with a deposit of 200 EUR. The balance is not due until 45 days before the start of the tour. However, if you book within 45 days of the tour start date, the full tour price is payable immediately. This means you can plan your trip flexibly and look forward to your adventure!

If you make an enquiry, we will then contact you by phone to discuss all the details for preparing the offer. For example, we will clarify whether you need a flight offer and discuss all the important travel topics with you. You will then receive a personalised offer from your travel consultant by email. This ensures that all your wishes are taken into account and that you are well informed.

After your booking, you will receive a tour confirmation and your flight documents if you have booked the flight through us. You will be given access to a packing list and to online groups where you can exchange ideas with other participants. Your tour guide will contact you around 2-4 weeks before the start of the tour and provide you with final details about your journey and the start of the tour. This way you are well prepared and can network with your fellow travellers in advance.

As the group participants are travelling from many different countries, the flights to and from the tour are booked individually and are not included in the tour price. You can arrive at any time on the first day of the tour. However, a welcome dinner is planned in the evening, which is why you should be at your first accommodation before 6 pm if possible so as not to miss it. This way you can get to know the other participants right at the start and have a relaxed start to your adventure.

Airport transfer:
The airport transfer on your arrival on day 1 is already included in the price. You will be picked up at the airport and taken to your first accommodation in comfort. So you can start your trip relaxed and don't have to worry about organising transport.

Departure on the last day of the tour is possible at any time. Please note:
Your 15-day Epic Indonesia trip ends in the beautiful town of Ubud. You can stay longer in Ubud, or if you need to get back to Denpasar airport, it's a simple minivan transfer that takes around 1.5 hours and costs around €25. We can organise this for you in Bali. We recommend that you do not book your onward flight out of Bali before 1pm on day 12. Your group leader will ensure that all other transport options are organised locally and that you are happy with all parts of your trip and onward travel.

Your group leader will contact you about a week before your trip. In this message, they will introduce themselves and confirm your meeting point or flight details. They will also provide you with all the important information and final details about your trip. Anyone who feels young, active and adventurous is welcome to join this tour. The activities are designed to be fun and offer new experiences. As long as you have the energy and enthusiasm, we look forward to having you join us!

If you are over 40 and taking part in the tour, please note that the other participants will generally be younger than you.

Travel health insurance is compulsory on this tour to protect you. This can already be taken out at a reasonable price. We also recommend taking out travel cancellation, trip interruption and baggage insurance. These insurances offer you comprehensive protection and security during your trip.

We recommend travelling with a rucksack and packing light! 10-20kg should be enough. It's usually quite hot and it's no fun lugging around a huge suitcase. You can do your laundry or have it done for little money in most accommodation.
